As a convert to Islam, I write from the unique vantage point of someone who has navigated the tension between cultural inheritance and spiritual rebirth. My second passion besides philosophy is music, particularly jazz—an art form that taught me to listen between the notes, to find meaning in rhythm and silence alike. That same attentiveness now informs my engagement with Islamic tradition, where theology, philosophy, art, and lived experience intersect in profound and often unexpected ways.
My journey is not defined by a single moment of change but by a series of questions—some answered, many ongoing. Through my writing, I seek to explore the intellectual and emotional landscapes of Islam as both a faith and a way of life. From the words of classical scholars to the lives of modern seekers, I am drawn to the stories and ideas that challenge, inspire, and illuminate.
